For 10 years running, Winnebago has been recognized by Statistical Surveys as the nation's top selling motorhome manufacturer. Having just completed a road test of the all-new Class A Via we see why customers voted it as number one again.
RV contributing writer, G.R. Whale, was surprised by the fitment and finish of the coach, as well as the quality of design. To quote Whale, "By the numbers or in appearance the Via isn’t a big coach. Twenty-five feet long and a foot lower and narrower than a typical A-class it goes many places, including length-limit campgrounds, larger coaches simply can’t get in."
According to RV Business, "Winnebago Industries also became the top-selling Class A market leader for the first time since 1981. Total Class A market share for calendar 2010 was 19.5% compared to 16.6% for calendar 2009. Winnebago Industries’ Class A diesel market share was 15.2% in calendar 2010 versus 11.4% in calendar 2009. Winnebago Industries also led the Class A gas market segment with 23.7% market share in calendar 2010, compared to 22.9% for calendar 2009."
